What resulted was a ministry that takes food and the Gospel to the homes of families in need. When a door opens in response to our knock, we have the opportunity to minister to both their physical and spiritual needs. When you take the steps to reach people in their own surroundings it creates an atmosphere for change. OPI's real goal is to get God involved in their lives and help families get on their feet to where they can, once again, face the future with promise and expectation.
Many are called, but few choose to help the needy in our communities. You can make that choice! There are many avenues for you to participate, and when you see how others have extended beyond their own boundaries to "help", it will become readily apparent that you can reap the same benefits.
