International
Operation Provision International is reaching beyond the boundaries of our neighborhoods to include the villages of the world. Not only does OPI help supply the needs of those who don't have enough food, but once that natural need is met, we can give them an even greater gift … the Gospel.
Economic hardships are touching every nation and our resources are taxed as we endeavor to help families, most of who have no viable way to help themselves. The words "it's more blessed to give than to receive" takes on new meaning when we follow God's example of loving our neighbor, even if that neighbor is countries away.

At present, OPI works out of churches much like it does in the USA. The principal of giving works wherever a group of people are bold enough to put it to the test. Often we hear about a small village church that had very little, but still took a portion of whatever they could get together and gave it to someone in need. Members of the congregations are often asked to provide a food item that, when put with other donations, makes up a delivery food packet. Other times a monetary offering is taken to purchase food. Either way, amazing things happen when they take out their food packets and give God something to work through. Whole families have come to know Jesus and several suicides have been prevented just to name a few.
To date the concept of OPI has been introduced to 53 nations and numerous churches have been planted and continue to grow as a result of continued ministry
  • Church Chapters - The Bible is clear about helping the poor and puts no stipulation that some countries are exempt from doing so. Churches in any nation can easily put the OPI concept to work in their midst and see results almost immediately. All that is needed is people within a church to catch the vision and follow the plan. Both the doer and the receiver benefit from this type of one-on-one, door-to-door ministry. Materials are available that will walk you through a chapter startup.
  • Distribution Centers - Future plans include setting up distribution centers stocked with food where churches can purchase provisions at a low cost, package the food and distribute it in the poor areas. This often causes unity between churches as boundaries are crossed opening the door to impact larger areas at one time.
