Partnership
Partnership by definition is taking part in an activity with others that have the same interest. Without faithful partners, whether in a volunteer capacity or financial support, OPI would not have touched thousands of lives thus far, nor would we stand on the threshold of reaching an ever greater number of lost and hurting people.
God designed partnership to play a huge role when it comes to increasing the abilities, resources, and rewards of every person. If you're in partnership with OPI, you'll receive an eternal reward for every person who is born again or touched in a positive way by this ministry.
The Bible says this about you in Deut. 15:10 "You shall surely give to him (the poor) and your heart should not be grieved when you give to him, because for this thing the Lord your God will bless you in all your works and in all to which you put your hand." What a promise! Even in times of personal hardship, don't forget about the poor. Your partnership with OPI keeps the door open for God to move in your behalf in an even greater way.
Great satisfaction is derived from having a hands-on experience of helping others. All areas of service are important because the end result is the reality that you have touched a human life in a positive way. - Prayer Partners - Prayer is the foundation of OPI. Partners from all over the world purpose to pray together corporately the second and fourth Tuesday nights of the month at 7pm. These special times of prayer lay track for future development of the ministry which includes work in the USA and in the nations. This commitment to pray can be honored in a personal setting or by getting a group together at this appointed time. There is great power made available when people come together in one accord and pray with a single focus. - Pantry/Warehouse
- Anything of value requires work and OPI is no different. Whether it is purchasing or packing food, inventory/stocking shelves, or keeping the area clean, these behind-the-scenes jobs enable the ministry to reach people.
- Delivery Teams
- Two-person teams deliver food boxes to assigned families and return to the same family once a month for six months. These monthly visits provide an opportunity for relationships to form and open the door for life-changing ministry.
- Fundraising - No ministry can continue to grow without increased funds. Innovative and creative ways to raise money are always welcome and that person with the knack to get deals and free product and services is always in demand. If that is your gifting, consider letting OPI benefit from your expertise.
- Office
- Volunteer assistance is welcome with office related jobs as the needs arise. Also, help is needed to pack and make ready the materials that are taken on mission trips.
- Financial
- At OPI we know that without our faithful committed partners that so freely give of their finances we could not make the impact that we are seeing in this ministry. As a financial partner, there is also the opportunity of being an ambassador that communicates and promotes the ministry to potential donors.
